Be sure to go to the Hobby Lobby web site every week and print out the 40% off coupon. I have a HL close to me and I never pay full price for a kit or a can of paint. On Monday I print out six coupons and carry them in my car all week. Most weeks I manage to use 3 or 4. ;D

I haven't bothered with Michaels because the closest one to me is about 15 miles and the last time I checked only had about a dozen models on the shelf. Been awhile though, gonna have to check it again.

we have a Hobby Lobby here is Spokane, a little pricy, but our store has very little in the parts department area. lots of good kits and paint.

Joe: It's the same in our Hobby Lobby. I use it mainly for an occasional 40% off kit and keep a close eye on the clearance shelf because models you don't see on the full price shelf often turn up here. My HL has an excellent paint selection and that is what I use it for the most.

I guess I am pretty lucky,I have 2 about 15 to 20 minutes from me. We also have a Craft 2000 thats where I get my air brush bottles. Hobby store is about 25 miles from me. Don't go there much. Glad for you Terry and Steve. Eddie. ;D
